What is the CVI Project research about?
This research is about how many children have CVI, how best we find them and support them, and what areas of their life are most affected.
Prevalence
The Prevalence Study will investigate how many children may have CVI, and what is the best way of finding who could be at risk.
Impact
The Impact Study hopes to find out more about how CVI impacts on the lives of children with this condition.
Linkage
As well as individual information form children and their parents and teachers, we will be exploring ways of linking to national data from schools and hospitals, so that in the feasibility RCT we can set up systems to record a wider range of ways that having CVI can affect a family, and whether treatment or support help.
Feasibility
The Feasibility Study will test whether an intervention to support children with CVI makes a difference to their well-being.
